De Pastorie Roermond values your privacy. This statement explains which personal data we process when you use our website or contact us, why we do so, and what rights you have.

Which data do we process, and why?
1. Reserving a table (reservation request)
When you request a table via the website, we process the details you enter: your name, phone number, e-mail address, the preferred date and time, the number of guests and any remarks. We use these only to contact you and confirm the reservation. Basis: your consent and preparing a reservation at your request.
2. Booking a room
Room bookings are handled by our booking partner (Hoteliers.com). The data you enter there is processed by that party under their own privacy policy. We receive from them the data needed to arrange your stay.
3. Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us directly, we process the details you provide, in order to answer your question.
4. The chatbot on the website
Our website may contain a chatbot that answers general questions about De Pastorie. The question you type is processed to generate an answer. The chatbot is intended for general questions; please do not enter sensitive personal data. We do not use the chat to build a profile of you.
Cookies and visitor statistics
Our website does not place tracking or advertising cookies and does not keep visitor statistics. You are not tracked for advertising purposes.
Who do we share your data with?
We do not sell your data. We do use a number of service providers that help us run the website and our services. These parties may only use your data for the purpose for which we engage them:
- Formspree — processes the reservation form and forwards your request to us as an e-mail.
- Hoteliers.com — handles the online room bookings.
- Anthropic — processes the questions you ask in the chatbot in order to answer them (insofar as the chatbot is in use).
Some of these parties may process data outside the European Union. They are bound by appropriate safeguards for the protection of your data.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we received it. A reservation request is kept until your visit has been completed and is then removed, unless we are required to keep data longer by law (for example for our administration).
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also object to processing, request restriction or transfer of your data, and withdraw consent you have given. To exercise these rights, send an e-mail to info@pastorieroermond.nl. We respond as soon as possible.
Complaint? If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data. The website works over a secure connection (HTTPS) and we handle your data carefully.

We may update this privacy statement from time to time, for example if something changes about our website or services. The most current version is always on this page.
